An expressionist painting of the fields of wheat near the White Horse at Uffington. The weather was variable and scorching sun would be suddenly broken by downpours of rain. Walking out into the fields during a hot spell the heat was such that the wheat was crackling like cicadas.

I am an Australian born Canadian and have lived and painted in the UK for a large part of my life. I studied art at Banbury, Byam Shaw and gained my degree in fine art from Surrey Institute of Art & Design, Farnham.
