About the artist
Bennett Hall photographed across the US and in his primary residence San Francisco from 1974 to 1997 creating street photography and eclectic portraits, as well as large format landscape and architectural photography. He stopped photographing in 1997 after being attacked while photographing in front of his gallery by a SF policeman - a game changer if you will. Hall focuses today on making his extensive archives, including historical holdings digitally accessible through web galleries, producing art programs for corporations, hotels and public buildings, and has also just launched the first custom picture framing studio dedicated to green best practices.
